This years club award for 50 Miles, is fastest rider on any 50 mile TT event. Please inform John Grant if you compete in any 50 Mile TT event.
Club T107 League
This is a series of 10 Mile Time Trials over 9 weeks starting on a Wednesday night in May on the T107 course. Each rider collects points for their finishing position in respect to other HCC competitors. The persons with the most points (Fastest) and also VTTA (Standard) and also for the fastest Road Bike category, after your best 7 qualifying rides, are the 3 event winners. Riders set off in 1 min intervals and you can enter on the night.

Club 100 mile event – Ride 100 miles in 8 hours over Bollinghope Moor
This is a club ride which goes out towards Durham and Consett and turns towards Staindrop (where there will be a tea stop). Then goes over the moors towards Barnard Castle before returning back to the Golden Lion in Hartlepool. We need at least 6 entries for this to go ahead and all finishers under 8hrs will receive a medal from the club. The ride will be accompanied by a support car to cover any emergencies and equipment etc.

Other Events (non club events)
Croft Tens – Closed Circuit Time Trials at Croft – come try it and see (sign on 17:15 start from 18:30) – great opportunity for younger riders. Simply turn up on the night, pay your £10 entry and receive a number and your allotted start time. Riders set off in 30 sec intervals, with 5 clockwise laps round Croft Circuit. Free parking. Results on CTT Teesside Facebook page the next day! This is the 9th year of this great series. Ideal for beginners, on a traffic free course. Dates for 2024 are:-

Sun 03/03/24 – 08.30 – Cycle A Marathon 26.2 miles – Alice House Hospital fully marshalled event along the Hart To Haswell route to Dalton Park. (Enter here £10)
Sun 12/05/24 – 10.00 – Stokesley 30 Mile Charity Ride – The 26th Event. Should be a good one. (Enter) Entry £10

SPOCO League
In the CTT Handbook for the Teesside district, there are a number of SPOCO events. These are an excellent series of Time Trial events on undulating back roads and can be used as an excellent way of putting in some hard rides. SPOCO stands for Sporting Course – usually meaning undulating, possibly hilly and twisty courses on back roads. When you complete each event, you are awarded points which go towards your league standing. Check out some of the courses, these really are great rides and very popular!
